Expected Outcomes

thoughts, outcomes, expectations, manifesting, meditation, poem, poetry

After what felt like a forever struggle this morning getting into my meditation, I realized that my struggle was showing me something. When I just couldn’t find what I was looking for from my meditation, I decided to walk away, get a change of scenery. And that’s when it hit me. The problem was, I was looking for something.

Every thought I was having was attached to an outcome. Me looking was actually me blocking the flow I wished to enter. I came to see that one of the many details which may truly help with meditation (and also manifestation) is to let all of the thoughts which have an outcome go. Because you are in search of the thought – the place – where there is no other outcome. You literally have everything you could possibly want. It is your personal paradise. And it is your true essence.

This actually helps with the idea that thoughts become things. Leaders in this arena will say things like, “You have to feel what it would feel like to have it” and “You have to believe that it’s yours.” Tell that to someone like me and no matter how hard I try, goose egg. But now I can tell you that you can use the path of your thoughts which hold outcomes to guide you to the place where the feeling is possible, where the belief is possible. It is the place in your mind where you can retreat and want for nothing.

So while we cannot truly clear our mind, we can choose how we use our thoughts to get us where we want to go. This is why it’s so important to train your mind.
