This morning I watched two geese fly in perfect harmony. Their movements in perfect rhythm with one another. But I realized that neither was worried about what the other was doing. Each was simply focussed on itself and knew that the world around it would work around them.
We focus so much on our outer realities that we’re constantly reactive to circumstances created by someone (or something) else. But what if we just took care of ourselves?
Doesn’t it stand to reason that if we truly nurture that part of us that is buried beneath the outer world’s circumstances that we could actually make our lives easier? Because life is an experience of what we think it is, and there is no greater truth to knowing what’s going on in your mind than by observing your reality.
